A Call for Pastors to Seek Revival and National Renewal
Truth
Exalts
America!! Pastors
join with us in weekly calls with some of America’s leading Christian
Patriots like David Barton, Mat Staver and Bill Federer to grow together
and pray together with the goal of meeting in San Antonio for a Pastor’s
T.E.A. Party. The acronym
stands for Truth Exalts America as Proverbs 13:24 declares
“Truth exalteth a nation, but
righteousness is a reproach to any people.”
America was born as a result of the Great Awakening which united
the Colonies as “One Nation Under God.”
That great revival led to the leadership of Patriot Pastors in
the 1750’s through 1770’s who boldly declared
“liberty from tyranny” and
“we have no king, but king Jesus”
in their pulpits. |

Pastor, you and I hold the key, but it remains to be
seen what we will do with it.
Consider the facts:
1.
Politically the nation is being held hostage by professional politicians
driven by greed and selfish ambition, more concerned with being
reelected and amassing power than serving the people.
2.
Economically the nation is nearing bankruptcy and financial ruin, with
growing unemployment and hopelessness gripping more and more of the
citizenry.
3.
Morally, America has lost all sense of shame as the nation has fallen
into sexual anarchy, most visibly demonstrated through the entertainment
industry.
4.
Spiritually, Churches are in decline and the American people are
becoming increasingly less interested in spiritual things.
The
hope:
God
is America’s greatest hope…but He is also America’s greatest threat!
Woe to us if we do not seek His
face in repentance and for genuine revival.
The
problem:
Most
of America’s pastors have abandoned their posts as the “watchman on the
wall.” (See Ez.33:7)
The
proposal:
A
national call for America’s pastors to assemble in San Antonio for one
day of seeking God on behalf of our nation, stepping over all barriers
of denominations, doctrinal differences and racial divides.
On July 7th, we will have one doctrinal statement:
“We believe the United States
of America was designed to be…One nation, under God!”
America needs Patriot Pastors who are committed to be
God’s “watchmen on the wall,” who are unashamed of being
Americans…not
Asian-Americans; not Native-Americans; not African-Americans; nor any
other hyphenated American…just Americans.
America must return to the God who granted us our
freedoms, or she will cease to exist.
“American”
was never a nationality…it was an idea.
That’s why men and women from every nation have been willing to
make any sacrifice to come here and regardless of where they were born,
they could become an American.
That wonderful ideal is in danger of dying.
The
background:
A
group of pastors convened in Nashville, Tennessee on February 6, during
the National Tea Party Convention, and a plan was birthed in their
hearts to issue a call for Pastors to come together and seek God for
national revival and American renewal.
It is easy to feel
isolated and alone as a Pastor, but just as in Elijah’s day when God
reminded Elijah that there were 7,000 others who had not bowed a knee to
Baal, (See 1 Kings 19) so we believe there are at least 7,000 Pastors in
this country out of the more than 350,000 pastors and priests in
America, who have remained true to His Word, and who like the men of
Issachar in David’s day, understand the times and know what to do. (See
1 Chron. 12:32) The Alamo Plaza, where 182 Texicans gave their lives
rather than give up their freedom, has been reserved for the
National Patriot Pastors’
T.E.A. (Truth Exalts America) Party.
"Righteousness
exalteth a Nation, but sin is reproach to any people" (Prov. 13:24)
Our goal will be to address the…
For three hours we will conduct a rally for renewal
on the morning of July 7th in the Plaza, followed by four
hours of strategic planning and training, in a location to be named
later, after which every Pastor will be urged to take the fires of
revival and truth to their own
communities and pulpits. Following the San Antonio meeting, Pastors will be
urged to use the 17 weeks leading up to Election Day to network via the
Internet and teleconferencing and work toward national revival, seeking
God’s face for our country and calling men and women to faith in Christ
and renewed Christian citizenship.
Politically we will work together to register our
people to vote and then educate them regarding the issues, urging them
to vote Biblically, electing godly leaders at all levels of government,
for the glory of God. We
will promote neither party and will endorse no candidates, but we will
promote God’s principles in government, praying daily for revival.
The
plan:
This Tuesday, and every Tuesday
until March 23rrd, we will conduct a teleconference at 9AM Eastern Time,
for 45 minutes. Every pastor that gets on the call for the first time
will be urged to recruit 7 more pastors for the next call.
Our first call had 15 participants. The second call
had 26 participants. If the
numbers increase sufficiently to indicate that pastors are taking
ownership of this effort toward national revival, we will proceed to
calling for the rally on July 7, 2010.
This determination will
Your
responsibility:
Copy this plan and send it to seven pastors who share the burden you
hold for this nation. Then
commit to giving this effort your support each Tuesday until March 23rd.
If we agree to pursue this vision of national revival, it will be
our responsibility to pray for, contribute toward, and execute the plan
to get 7,000 Pastors to San Antonio on the 7th day of July.
Please consider the possibilities if…

Seven thousand pastors gather with broken and contrite hearts, seeking
God for this nation….
ü
Participating in a Seven day chosen fast, starting on July 1st
and concluding it…
ü
On the Seventh day of the Seventh month of this year…
ü
In the Seventh largest city of America…
ü
Where for Seven hours we will seek God together for revival and renewal…
ü
Then,
for the next seventeen weeks…
1.
We will educate our people about America’s godly heritage;
2.
We will teach our church families how to think Biblically about the
issues confronting our country;
3.
We will conduct voter registration drives in our churches, holding a
minimum of two Citizenship Sundays in our churches.
4.
We will call them to vote their Biblical values on Election Day, not as
Republicans, Democrats or Independents, but as Sons and Daughters of the
Lord Jesus Christ. If we will do our part, God will do His part.
“If my people, who are
called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and
turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will
forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chron. 7:14
This country was
birthed out the fires of a national revival that came to be known as the
“Great Awakening.” which in turn gave us the wonderful Declaration of
Independence, which forever enshrined these words…
We hold these truths
to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are
endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among
these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. If we are to be brought back from the brink, we must
have another great awakening.
I believe July 7, 2010, is a day of destiny for our nation, and
we Pastors hold the key.
